Manage your account settings, change your password, update your profile, and delete your account

KorLoans takes the security of your financial data seriously. This guide covers how to manage your account settings, change your password, and delete your account if needed.


Signing In

KorLoans supports multiple sign-in methods:

  • Email and password
  • Google
  • Apple (iOS only)
  • Facebook

If you signed up with a social provider, you can sign in with that same provider on any device.


Updating Your Profile

  1. Tap your profile in the bottom of the side menu
  2. Select Profile settings
  3. Update your name
  4. Tap Save

Changing Your Password

If you signed up with email and password:

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Find the Change Password section
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
  5. Tap Change password

Resetting a Forgotten Password

If you forgot your password:

  1. On the login screen, tap Continue with Email
  2. Enter your email address
  3. On the sign-in screen, tap Reset it here
  4. Check your email for a reset link
  5. Click the link and enter your new password

The reset link expires after 1 hour.


Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account from the Profile screen.

Before You Delete

  • If you’re a lender with active loans or borrowers, you must delete those records first
  • If you’re a borrower with active loans, contact your lender to close or remove your loans first

How to Delete

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be removed.

  • Your financial data is stored securely and encrypted in transit
  • We never sell your data to third parties

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my email address? Email changes are currently available through the profile settings.

Can I link multiple sign-in methods? Yes, if you sign in with Google and later try to sign in with the same email using Apple, the accounts will be linked automatically.

What happens to my data when I delete my account? All your data (borrowers, loans, payments, disbursements) is permanently deleted. This cannot be reversed.

Is my data backed up? Your data is stored in our secure database. We do not currently offer user-facing data exports, but you can request a copy by contacting support@korloans.com.
